Excellent trainer, even better person! We signed on with Scott for his "doggie boot camp" 3-4 week training while we were out of town traveling. Our Max got sick and stopped eating. Scott went way above and beyond getting Max to the Vet, advocating for him on our behalf, and really caring for him. A very stressful situation (2,000 miles away from our sick dog) was far more tolerable because of Scott. It was obvious during all our conversations that he truly cared about Max and wanted to see him well.We took a break to make sure he was fully healthy and sent him back for round two of training and Max is a new dog. He is exceptionally well trained but more importantly, he is more confident and happy. We have used other trainers and Scott's method is both more simple and more effective. I could not recommend Warner K9 more highly.

Our pup Lucy just got back from a month long bootcamp and we are thrilled with the results. We received a dog that has a wonderful training foundation set (crate/cot ”place”/loose leash/basic commands) and a dog that is thrilled to train. Scott taught Lucy an obedience language, then taught us how to properly engage her. Scott is an extremely knowledgeable trainer and willing to give a ton of advice about how to handle certain types of behavior. He also gave us great advice on how to introduce our puppy to a new born. I cannot recommend Scott’s(Warner K9) training services enough!

We dropped our Belgian Mal, Frankie (3 y/o male) off with Scott/Warner K-9 for a month-long board and train over the holidays while we were honeymooning. My husband & I picked Frankie up today and, holy wow, Scott did an amazing job. Frankie needed some help with settling down indoors, recall, placing and leash/public manners. Frankie, while still his derpy+loving self, is like a completely different dog.Warner K-9 did a stellar job with Frankie! Scott provided us with concise and simple instructions to continue to reinforce Frankie’s training; and ultimately, a pathway to building a stronger relationship with our doggo through clearer communication and expectations. We would recommend Warner K-9 without hesitation and will absolutely train with them in the future.

Scott helped my family and I tremendously with our lab mix Miles. We adopted miles as a 3 month old puppy from a local rescue group and didn't realize how hard puppies can be. We struggled potty training Miles and getting him to settle but Scott was a miracle and helped us accomplish our goals. Not only were we extremely happy But our dog absolutely loved Scott.

I initially contacted Scott about my sweet but slightly leash aggressive dog poppy. I had no idea why she was barking at other dogs but it was embarrassing and made it difficult to take her out. After doing a boot camp my dog came back significantly better behaved. Scott helped me realize my dogs fear on leash and learn how to both reward good behavior and correct her barking. We both greatly appreciate all of Scott’s help!

I had an amazing opportunity to work with Scott for competitive sport dog work recently, and was blown away with his knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. He truly cares about instilling proper foundation skills and his articulation of concepts makes learning fun and seamless. I look forward to working with him in the future, and highly recommend to anyone seeking training for their pet or competition dog.

Scott is my superhero! He was exactly what our family needed to help us with our new pup. I have one of the most well behaved puppies thanks to Scott and I have the tools to keep him that way... Scott says having a well trained dog is like having a Super Power and it really is!!!

Scott is an amazing dog whisperer. He potty-trained my 5mos old puppy, and taught him the basic commands to enable a single, full-time working individual to bring him home without issue. The puppy walks on leash brilliantly, never lunging, he doesn't bark ever, he's only peed in the house once, and he's fully crate trained. A testament to Scott's gentle approach to training: after having him home for about 6 weeks, Scott came back to check in on the puppy—immediately, the puppy recognized Scott and behaved perfectly to get all the pets and attention (and okay yes treats!) he knew Scott would give him. I found Scott to be super flexible about my needs, and my willingness to engage in corrective behavior versus just rewarding behavior. He has been over-the-top kind and generous to me in helping get my new puppy settled into his new life. I would absolutely recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for a kind, gentle but consistent training program to grow your puppy into the best dog he or she can be.

I can't say enough good words about Scott and his training program. He is not only experienced and intelligent when it comes to dog behavior but is also a joy to work with! He makes training fun and his enthusiasm radiates to you and your pup. He gives clear instructions on what you need to work on and is dedicated to you and your dogs success. I drive across state lines to train with Scott! He is absolutely amazing and my only regret is that I live too far away.

Scott was wonderful! He is a credit to his profession. If you are looking for a trainer for your dog you don't have to look any farther, you have found the expert you are looking for. I got his number from an acquaintance (Thank goodness!) and he came to our house. I interviewed several different people prior but felt their training approach was not what I was looking for. Scott started with the basics, and every session we accomplished so much. His approach is very good, he prompts the dog to chose to do what you are asking because they want to, not because of fear, or submission. This is really the new age of training. I would definately recommend him to anyone for training. He really knows his stuff. He is very good at training and coaching the owners how to work with their dog. He is also very adaptable, working with his client to accomplish their goals, realizing every situation, owner, and dog are different. His knowledge and experience are extensive. Our dog is 3 now and thanks to the good foundation he helped us set she is a great, well behaved, sweet dog.

Scott is an excellent teacher and knows how to tailor training specifically to you and your dog. He's more than happy to answer all your questions (I had A LOT!) and doesn't make you feel stupid. He's passionate about his craft and I cannot recommend him more! Can't wait to work with him again.

Thank you Scott for teaching me how to train my golden retriever. Your approach helped transform Brodie from my "crazy" dog to the sweet, fun, obedient dog I always hoped he would be. And thanks too for all your tips and advice on traveling with Brodie. We were able to drive up the coast of Oregon to Washington without a hitch. And best of all, we got to experience Brodie running and playing freely on the beach-- something I have always dreamed to do with my dog!!
